centres throughout British Columbia. You can visit the "Volunteer Centres" page to discover the centre that is closest to you and connect with it in order to explore volunteering opportunities within your community.

GoVolunteer is a database of volunteering opportunities in BC and Alberta. This website allows you to search through its database in a number of ways, including category. This way you can identify an area that you are interested in (e.g. Animals), choose what city you live in and the website will list opportunities connected to that field of interest in that specific city. This is a quick and easy way to read through local volunteering positions.
