What is Unlock your Future?
After being fortunate enough to fund her entire university education through scholarships, Brittany wanted to share with others what she learned through trial and error while going through the scholarship process. Thus, her scholarship seminar, Unlock your Future, was created.
Unlock your Future provides steps for students to go through in order to find, apply for and win scholarships. It does not simply focus on students with high GPAs; but rather is a comprehensive program that is useful for all types of students. Since its creation three years ago, Brittany has traveled from Vancouver Island to the Interior and presented Unlock your Future to over 2500 high school students (grades 9 through 12), teachers and parents as well as at the YWCA Career Fairs (2006 and 2007) and the Kamloops YAC Preparing for Post-Secondary Education Conference (2008).
